ABOUT ELEKTRAUM
ELEKTRAUM reinvents the electric oud by placing it at the heart of live electronic music, where deep bass, incisive rhythms and shifting textures lead into a liberating contemporary trance.
Drawing on nearly twenty years of oud practice, grounded in classical training in Arab-Turkish music, ELEKTRAUM frees the instrument from its conventional role, reshaping it through live processing into the centerpiece of a distinctive, instantly recognizable sonic universe.
At the crossroads of Speed Caravan, Orange Blossom and Acid Arab, ELEKTRAUM also channels psychedelic rock, dub, electronica and trip-hop, along with the energy and inventiveness of independent electronic music.
On stage, ELEKTRAUM delivers a compact, immersive set, built around a progressive rise in intensity and a direct connection with the audience. The project also carries with it more than a decade of international stage experience. Its current solo live format was unveiled in spring 2026, opening a new cycle of shows and releases continuing throughout 2027.
